Forest Adventure originated in France as a type of “outdoor parks in harmony with nature.” The treetops course was first created for corporate training, but with growing popularity it opened to the general public and was eventually exported abroad.
The first rule of Forest Adventure is that you are responsible for your safety while on the courses. Aside from an introductory safety lesson at the beginning of your course, you will not be accompanied by an instructor. You will be given the freedom to explore the course but also the responsibility to maintain your safety. This is one of the activities’ appeals.
“Adults can have fun like kids, and kids can feel responsible like adults.”
Courses include various types of bridge crossings like hanging logs, zip lines, cargo nets, balance beams, and more.
Participants are required to be at least 110cm or 140cm in height or elementary 4th grade or older. Maximum allowed weight is 110kg / 130kg. For underage participants a guardian’s signature is required on the release form. Height requirements and weight limits depend on the course. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian over 18 years old. One adult/guardian may accompany up to 3 underage participants. Should the guardian be unable to take the child through the course an instructor may be hired.
