The 8th Sweets Festival will be held in Toyooka City on April 14 & 15, 2018. Most of the excitement takes place on April 14 when you can find about 60 shops with various types of sweets and drinks in downtown Toyooka. It is the ideal opportunity for sweets lovers. Then on April 15, sweets shop owners get together from across Japan at Nakashima Shrine to pray to the god of sweets for prosperity who is enshrined there. To access the festival, get off at JR Toyooka Station and head east towards the festivities.
