The 9th Annual Sweets Festival will be held on April 20th, 2019!
This year, all of the festivities will be taking place in one day. In the morning from 8:10 to 9:40, sweets shop owners from all over Japan gather at Toyooka’s Nakashima Shrine to pray to the god of sweets (enshrined there) for prosperity. From 10:00 to 3:30, festivities will be open along the main street in front of JR Toyooka Station. You can find about 60 shops with various types of sweets and drinks in downtown Toyooka. It is the ideal opportunity for sweets lovers!
