Tajima Tea-Picking Tour (with English-speaking guide)

Enjoy gorgeous tea plantation views, pick your own tea leaves, and use them to make your own tea!
While tea is famously cultivated in Shizuoka and Uji, the countryside of the Tajima region near Kinosaki Onsen also houses a beautiful tea plantation where you can pick tea leaves. In this activity, visit a local tea plantation and learn how to properly pick tea. Afterwards, with the help of a local tea instructor, steep the tea leaves in the traditional way to enjoy with a lunch of local, natural ingredients. This activity is offered from May 21st to the 23rd, which is the peak time for gathering these leaves.

Tea-making workshop
